Saturday May 29

Today I was hungry for sweets. Everything I ate just wouldn't satisfy that craving. I think I have eaten a little more than suppose to but those days will come.

Breakfast-

I was out until late last night on a date with my hubby that I didn't post yesterday's plan. We went to a coffee shop in Ballard for a concert with some friends and then went to Dick's for a bite afterwards. It has been awhile since I have had Dick's and it was good!! It was a great night and even better that we got to sleep in this morning with no kids :)

Thursday May 27

Today I was busy cleaning for company and at the last minute I found out that she couldn't make it. We rescheduled for next week, but now I get to enjoy a clean house while it lasts. Although that won't be long. As I type I have spongebob paper all over the living room and bathroom! It didn't even last an hour :) I spent the evening catching up on some shows and making tutu's. I did good on my diet today! No exercise unless housework counts... which it should because I was sweating while doing it. I also got in my water, which is getting easier.

Wednesday May 26

Today was one of those hungry days. I am not sure if it was because of my workout or not, but this evening all I want was to eat and eat food full of carbs and sugar. I didn't though. I made popcorn after dinner and that really hit the spot! I worked out with Michelle again today. We did the Wii fit for an hour and I am sore!!!

Tuesday May 25

Today was a little tougher than yesterday since I was out most of the day, but I was good... no GREAT on my eating. I made myself some breakfast before Bible Study so I wouldn't be tempted and came home for lunch before I went to a friends house. AND I also brought my own snack with me!! I came home to make dinner and then went back to Michelle's house. I again was under my sugars/carbs. I think it is easier to just skip out on the carbs, the sugars are harder, they are in EVERYTHING, and when you only get 15 grams a day it makes it hard to decide what is best.

Monday May 24

So for my first day I did fairly well. It was hard for me to remember that I couldn't just eat because it was in front of me. Like snacking on the kid's food! I ate within my carbs and sugar and I didn't feel hungry in between meals. I also got in 9 cups of water today!! I think it helped that it was warm and I couldn't have anything else to drink :)

Exercise- 2 miles in 50 minutes

My maximum sugar/carb for the day is 15/6 so I am under for the day! This was easier than I thought it would be. I think it helps that Erik is doing it with me. We are eating the same thing and that helps.

Today is a NEW day!!

Erik and I have officially started our new eating plan!! I will post tonight all my foods and exercises. I am really encouraged that this new eating plan will be really great for me!! I weighed in this morning and measured my waist and I have lost 4lbs since coming home from my cruise, which is a surprise to me since I haven't really been trying. I am still 2lbs from my lowest weight, but hopefully I will loose that this week :)

A new plan...

So I know that I said I was going to start posting again this week, but I haven't started my new eating plan this week as I was hoping to. I WILL be starting on Monday. So I figured I would post today with what my new plan is all about. I starting the Belly Fat Cure. I basically just keep track of sugar and carbs. I only get 15 grams of sugar and 6 servings (about 20 grams) of carbs a day!! I have been planning this out for a few weeks now and I think this should be very easy for me to follow, plus Erik will be doing it with me so that should help! So when I put what I eat down it will have a number like this 3/2, it means I had 3 sugars and 2 carbs. If you have any questions let me know and if you want to join me I would love the support!!

Alaska





We had an AMAZING trip! It was very relaxing, but yet full of activity. We had the BEST weather... I came home with a tan! Who knew you needed to go to Alaska to do that :) We went to a show every night, most were really good, one not our thing, but still entertaining. We stopped in Juneau, Skagway, Hoonah (Icy Strait Point), Ketchikan and Victoria. Erik bought be some Northern Light earrings and necklace for our Anniversary present and Tanzite earrings for my Mother's Day gift. We really enjoyed being lazy and eating a lot! We would go and have breakfast, walk around the ports, come back for lunch, then nap, then dinner, show and then second dinner and dessert!! Almost every meal was a full 3 course meal!! Very good food! I only gained 5lbs but I think all the walking helped me not gain more! We are already planning our next cruise!!
