Tuesday March 30

Yesterday was full of excitement, well at least the morning was. As I was heading out the door to go to bible study my sister called to tell me that she was coming home a day early. So that meant I had to get all the girl's stuff together as well as some of my Kaydee's Kloset stuff to go over with my mom. I hate feeling rushed first thing in the morning, but we made it!! I had a few little cheats, I think I might be ovulating cause all I want is sweets :) And to top it all off my sister brought me some salt water taffy from the coast. (Ok I did ask for it) I did leave half the bag with my dad so I wouldn't be tempted to eat the whole bag.

Breakfast-

1/2 mini bagel w/ cream cheese

I was planning on doing my training yesterday but the whole day got turned upside down. I AM DOING IT TODAY!!! I might take the kids to the park, if the weather keeps up.

Monday March 29


So I weighed myself yesterday and I lost 2 lbs last week. That surprised me knowing how bad my weekend was!! I tried to add a picture yesterday of the kids and I coloring eggs, but it wouldn't work so today I put a newer picture of my kids up! I never did get to my exercises yesterday. I cleaned my house (there was a lot to do) and ended up meeting a friend when I normally would have exercised. So I will try today! I have Bible Study this morning and then I am going to head to my mom's for a few hours and let all the kids play together.

Sunday March 28

Yesterday was full of cheats... I am not sure what got into me. I tried and I failed. I dyed eggs yesterday with the kids, it was fun! My mom also made rice crispy treat eggs that the kids decorated with frosting and sprinkles. ( Yes, I had 2!!) The baby shower was fun, I won 2 games!! GO ME!! I didn't eat that great... they had a chocolate fondue... what's a girl to do?? Today should be better, I am home with the girls all day, but I will be resuming my exercises tonight!

Saturday March 27

Yesterday was full of spring cleaning!! We managed to clean out our walk in closet! (It was so full we couldn't get in anymore) It is now Kaydence's room!! It really works great with all her little furniture. She loves it! She even slept great in there, so I think it will work great for us. Because we were so busy all day we ordered pizza for dinner which is a cheat for me. I realize that I tend to cheat more on the weekends then the week days, so weigh in tomorrow might be the same. I might have to switch my weigh in days to Friday. Also I haven't done my couch to 5k training this week. I hope to start week 5 this week. So now I will be a week behind, oh well at least I am exercising!!!

Friday March 26

Yesterday was fine, nothing too exciting! My sister came by and dropped off my nephew for a few days so I have my hands full of some wild boys! I will exchange the boys for the girls tomorrow and I hope that isn't as wild! I did cheat again with my dinner, but only a little.

We got up early this morning and I hope that I will start feeling better. I do fine during the day, but at night it is worse. I might take the kids to the park today if the weather is good. It should do us all good to get out of the house for a bit. Sorry nothing too exciting going on in my life right now.

Thursday March 25

Yesterday I was sick, so I stayed in bed as much as possible. I am feeling a lot better today, but not totally up to par yet. I was able to get a few chores done today, so my hubby should be happy!! I also got my nephew, Josh, for a few days and then I will exchange Elijah and Josh for Peyton and Evie for a few days! This should be a fun week!! At least we will get to do some fun Easter stuff:) I didn't have much of an appetite yesterday just like I thought I would.

Dinner was a cheat because Erik made us dinner and I told him to whatever was easiest. It didn't sit in my stomach well and it took at least 2 hours for it to stop aching. I went to bed early or tried to. Today should be good and little more back to the normal.

Wednesday March 24

Well I didn't have my date night with Erik last night. Elijah threw a HUGE fit at school that I ended up bringing him home, so then he didn't get to go to his friends house. It's ok we will do it soon. I am still feeling like crap today, so I guess I will have another day of resting (or trying to) Nothing on the schedule for today except for cleaning out my closet if I am up to it. We are thinking about moving Kaydence into our walk-in closet so the kids can have their own room. We will see if it works out or not.

Tuesday March 23

Have you ever had one of those days where all you want to do it eat? Well that was yesterday for me, I was hungry the whole day!! I made sure that I ate the right foods though :) I am still dealing with a sore throat and I am tired all the time. Kaydence slept all night and even slept in!! So I got some good sleep last night.

Breakfast-

Teriyaki Chicken

I didn't get my water in yesterday, I felt like I was drowning whenever I was drinking. I need to get over this cold so I can get back on track. Hopefully today I won't want to eat everything I see!! Erik and I are going on a date tonight and I am super excited!!! It has been awhile since we have done something just the 2 of us.

Monday March 22

Yesterday I was extremely tired. I had been up since 5am and I got no nap in. Although I did get some exercise in!! Kaydence slept much better last night and today I feel refreshed, although I do have a slight sore throat. I did pretty good with my diet yesterday too!

Today I have Bible Study once again, so I will be bringing a Kashi Bar and some water just in case!! Sunday March 21

ONE WEEK DOWN!!! Yesterday was fun, I went to church to work in the nursery and after I went shopping with my mom. I got the kids new Easter outfits and some Easter gifts. I was extremely tired when I got back, I am not sure why... I wasn't shopping that long. I was really grumpy too, so I think it was something hormonal. Always fun! So for dinner we just got pizza, but I only had 1 slice with a few bread sticks. Today should be interesting, since I have been up since 5am. I am not sure if I will get back to sleep, I know once I do both kids will be up!!

Saturday March 20

So yesterday morning Erik and I got our enhanced driver's license and we were at the DMV for 2 hours, which I guess isn't too bad for a Saturday morning. I stayed in the car with the kids watching a movie for the first hour and a half. I did leave the house without having breakfast and we went to Dairy Queen for lunch. I did cheat a little, I mean how can I resist chocolate covered macadamia nuts from Hawaii??? I only had 4 through out the day and they were good!! Man I can get myself in trouble talking this way :) Being home all day vegging with my hubby can get me in trouble diet wise. So yesterday was not the greatest on my diet.

I think I may be coming down with the same cold my kids have so I didn't do my training yesterday. I wanted to take it easy and rest so my body can fight whatever may be happening. I will start it again on Monday. I am going shopping with my Mom today so I will make sure to bring a few water bottles and maybe even a kashi bar to snack on!! I really need to think ahead!!

Friday March 19

Yesterday was a crazy day! I only had Kaydence home with me, but I was glad because she was whining and crying ALL day! Even cuddling with Mama wasn't helping. She did take a long nap so that let me get enough rest in to do it all over again when she got up. On top of that I had to go to the store, make a salad, make banana bread (w/ WW flour and Splenda. Kinda dry, but still good), do the dishes, shower, laundry and get directions to the potluck. I was really stressing by the time Erik got home that I left without putting my make-up on. The potluck was fun and I did fairly well with my diet. Although I did have a brownie!! It was yummy! Over all it was a good day diet wise.

Kaydence was up a lot last night with a deep cough in her chest so we spent some time in the bathroom with a hot shower running. That seemed to help as did sleeping at an incline. Erik and I got our enhanced driver's license today and we were there for 2 hours!!! But it is all done and now we are set for our cruise!! Only 5 weeks :) I can't wait!!!

Thursday March 18

Well I did cheat yesterday :( BUT I didn't cheat as bad as I could have. I guess you could always cheat bad everyday, but when something you love is in your face it is hard to say no, but I did say a little! I had a great playdate with Heather and then I got to visit my parents who I haven't seen in a few weeks. Also I almost took Elijah to the ER last night. He split his lip on a stick, but it stopped bleeding and the swelling went down and it looks a lot better. Thank God!! I hate it when my kids are hurt.

I was proud of myself for having some self control yesterday. It can be hard to tell your self no when it is staring you in the face and when it is something you love!! I am going to a potluck for dinner tonight but I am going to make a salad so I know that there is something there I can have. I am also planning on going on a walk today. It's too beautiful outside no to :)

Wednesday March 17

Today I am feeling better! Still a little tired, but that could with being up for an hour in the middle of the night with Kaydence. Today will be challenging as I will be gone all day. We have a play date this morning and then I am going to see my parents after. They have been in Hawaii for the last 9 days and I missed them :) Yesterday I got in all my water and I followed my diet without cheating. I even got in run #2 for this week.

Tuesday March 16

So I am very tired today! I think my workout got the best of me :) Yesterday I was really busy and ended up getting some fast food, but I made sure that it followed my new eating rules and that I didn't over eat.

I think I did fairly well yesterday. My dr appointment went well and I will soon be back on all my meds. I still have to get my blood drawn tomorrow to test all sorts of different things even diabetes. I didn't meet my goal yesterday of getting all 64 oz of water in so I will try again today. I also need to get my house back in order so I will be doing LOTS of housework today which should help me burn some calories!!

Monday March 15th

So yesterday was kinda hard. When telling yourself no to something that is all I want and think about. However I did well and didn't cheat!

I really wanted some of the ice cream in the freezer I bought Erik, but I didn't. Today is going to be a little harder since I will be gone most of the day. I have Bible Study this morning which I will bring a Kashi bar with me as it is hard to find the right food sometimes. This afternoon I have a dr appointment, which I am really excited about. I am finally getting back on all my meds :) I haven't been on birth control since July and I haven't had a period either! (and no I am not pregnant, I have checked) My goals for today is to get in all 64oz of water!!

A new beginning


So I have been on my diet since Jan, but I needed some extra accountability so I decided to start a blog! A little history on me first then I will go into my diet and exercise plan. When I was 16 I was diagnosed with Poly-cycistic Ovarian Syndrome. For those of you who don't know what the is, it basically means I don't ovulate as well as have an insulin imbalance. Since I have this it is very easy for me to gain weight and hard to loose it. Since Jan I have cut out sugar and in Feb I cut out white flour from my diet. I have decided to do this for a year. So far I have lost 14lbs. I have also started training for a 5k. I am currently in week 4 of the 9 week training. It is getting hard too! I have decided to start this blog to share my feelings, struggles, my food intake and my weight loss!! Please feel free to comment with any help! Thanks for being on this adventure with me!!

Starting tomorrow I will post everything I ate today and how my day went, as well as my goals for the that day.
